Kodangal: Expressing his concern over students of all ages getting addicted to smartphones and not focusing on studies, Kodangal MLA Patnam Narender Reddy advised the students to shun the habit of spending excess time with the smartphones and urged them to put their efforts in studies.While taking part as a chief guest to a programme organised by Government Junior College authorities in Kodangal, the MLA said, “With changing times, students are also changing very fast. Unlike earlier, today students are spending their time on smartphones and getting addicted to online games and other unwanted material. Therefore, the students must avoid using smartphones and focus on studies.” Earlier, the MLA was accorded a warm welcome by the College principal and was felicitated with a shawl and a bouquet. The college authorities told the MLA about various problems and issues in the college related to lack of facilities and infrastructure. The MLA on the occasion had agreed to resolve the issues as early as possible. The MLA also promised that very soon he would get a degree college sanctioned to Kodangal and ensure that the college was constructed with the funds allocated under the MLA quota.
